The President of the Republic of Liberia, H.E. Dr. George Manneh Weah has expressed deepest sadness and grief over the death of Ghana’s former president, Jerry John Rawlings.
The Liberian leader took to Twitter to express condolences on behalf of his country and that of himself to the people of Ghana over the death of the former president.
He noted that, Ghana, Liberia and Africa will miss the great leader, and further pointed out that, Liberia remembers Rawlings for his immense contribution to the sustainment of peace during the dark days of their history.
