The former Director-General of Ghana Education Service (GES), Charles Aheto-Tsegah has called for the inclusion of the LGBTQ+ curriculum to be taught in schools.
According to him, it will be of great importance to the nation because our children will grow up knowing the right decisions to make in life.
In line with his sentiments, just as children are taught about other social vices to help them desist from those mistakes in the future, they should be taught about LGBTQI also and not for them to practice them.
Whiles speaking on TV3 on the LGBTQ+ legalization in the country which has now become a National topic, Mr Charles Aheto-Tsegah said;
In the education system, we don’t teach children to mimic practices that they are thought, especially those that are not in the interest of the public, but it is important for our children to have [the] knowledge.
