Elections 2020: “Let’s Not Spill Blood Over Political Differences” – Prof. Jane Naana tells Ghanaians

John Mahama’s running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has called for peace before and after this year’s general elections.

During a courtesy call on Barima Osei Hwedie II, Chief of Ejura in the Ashanti Region, the aspiring veep said the following;

Our activities should not be characterized by violence and disorderliness since we are not at war with each other.

“Let us not spill blood over our political differences, but think of the overall interest of the citizenry, stability and development of the nation,

Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang also added that politics is all about solving the problems in society and not an arena to fuel conflict amongst citizens.

We have a responsibility to always ensure that the contest of ideas does not in any way result in confusion

The NDC lead member is currently on a six-day tour in the  Ashanti Region to solicit for votes ahead of 7th December’s elections.

She was critically lauded by Barima Osei Hwedie who was highly impressed with her campaign message.
