A Tweep has taken to the micro-blogging platform to narrate how her best friend duped her of 1 million Naira which is equivalent to Ghc 15,117.
The victim, Ada, in a series of tweets explained that her friend called her to tell her that she has heart disease and has only some months to live.
She explained that her friend said she needed 3 million Naira for her treatment so out of which she offered to lend her friend 1 million Naira.
Later, she said she received a call from her friend’s mother and when she asked the older woman about her daughter’s heart disease, the woman forbade it and said her daughter doesn’t have any disease.
Ada said she has given her friend a timeframe to pay up or face the law.
