Kwami Sefa Kayi Is Silent Under Akufo-Addo After Making Noise Under Mahama – Abeku Adams

Economic League Fighters’ second in command, Abeku Adams Ekumfi, has shaded the host of Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” program.

According to the bestie of Ernesto Yeboah, the Peace FM starman had the vim to speak truth to power under the erstwhile Mahama regime but has lost his voice under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He made this revelation in one of his usual incessant posts. He wrote;

***Few years ago KWAME SEFA KAYI set the Media landscape on fire with phrase “Speak Truth to Power!”

It was lightning! For many it was bold and novel. Fake, I knew. Just as fake as “Occupy Ghana”.

Suddenly his Truth has finished under Mr. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. His Truth pen no longer has any ink. Selective amnesiac journalism.

He has said nothing about the many infractions of this Cartel on our so-called democracy.

But I am not surprised; “Speak Truth to Power” was not his CONVICTION. He had seen, heard or read it somewhere and it sounded good so decided to parrot it for applause.

‘The phrase originated with a pamphlet, Speak Truth to Power: a Quaker Search for an Alternative to Violence, published by the American Friends Service Committee in 1955. Speak Truth To Power is also the title of a global Human Rights initiative under the auspices of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights.The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is a Religious Society of Friends (Quaker) founded organization working for peace and social justice in the United States and around the world. AFSC was founded in 1917.’

One of our problems is that WE LACK MEN OF POWER WITH PERSONAL CONVICTIONS. Many petit power brokers like Journalists et Al are still living the ‘chew and pour’ outside the classroom; they just read, find catchy words and phrases and pour them on people. THE PRESIDENT HIMSELF READ BLATANTLY PLAGIARIZED INAUGURAL SPEECH!🧘🏿‍♂️***
