Ghanaians will see new additions to the existing cedi notes and coins beings used as currency for sale and purchase of goods and services.
The Bank of Ghana is set to officially flood the economy with notes of higher denominations.
These are the GHC100 and GHC200 notes and GHC2 coins as well.
According to Dr. Ernest Addison, the governor of the bank of Ghana, the new notes have so many security features which will be convenient for high spending and also to help the government on money creation.
Ghanaians have raised alarm on some of the features of the new cedi notes.
It is alleged that the notes have Illuminati symbols embedded in them.
They are crying the 666 has come earlier than they expected.
We are yet to confirm from authorities whether claims by a section of the public is true or not.
