If you are afraid of fading out quickly in Ghana, then Create a nation – Musician tells Kuami Eugene

Afrobeats and Highlife singer Sowa has waded into the conversation started by Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ‘Highlife Artiste of the Year’ Kuami Eugene that fan bases should be disbanded in Ghana.

Kuami Eugene in a recent interview on Hitz FM disclosed that he does not see use of fan bases of an artiste in Ghana.

The Lynx Entertainment signee told Andy Dosty, host of ‘Daybreak Hitz’ that Ghana is very small as a nation for artistes to be forming nations within because it will consequentially bring division in the country.

It is on this premise ‘For Better For Worse’ hitmaker Sowa has reacted inclining that Kuami Eugene to an extent is right but according to Sowa, it has its disadvantages.

The Dansoman-based singer took to social media to advice Kuami Eugene to trash his claims of disbanding fan bases in Ghana although his point made sense.

Sowa advised Kuami Eugene to form a fan base if he really has fears of fading out in the Ghanaian music industry as he revealed few weeks ago.

Sighted on his Twitter page, Sowa who revealed that ‘Obiaatu’ by Kuami Eugene is his favorite song in 2020 praised him for his exceptional songwriting skills.

@Kuami Eugene you have a point about no-nation but come to think of it, if you really fear fading out like you said then please create a fan base for urself.. your talent is exceptional … ‘Obiaatu’ still my jam… Rockstar!! Sowa tweeted.

Sowa’s plea to Kuami Eugene may be in the right order since in the music world, your loyal fan base hold on to you no matter what happens to you whether you are relevant or not.
