Loyal women of the NDC party who reside in Kumasi are currently in the principal streets of the city protesting against the EC’s final verdict which declared Nana Addo as the president-elect last Thursday.
According to them, the general election was rigged in favour of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), therefore, they will risk everything to see their flagbearer, John Mahama declared President-elect.
The Kumasi women organizer who schemed they whole protest said the following during an interview ith the media.
If she (Jean Mensa) did the right thing, she would not have declared President Nana Addo as the President-elect.
Our protest is to demand that the right thing be done in the just-ended
He (President Akufo-Addo) can unleash his army on us, he can unleash his police on us.
