Rapper, Edem, has tipped his colleague musician, Kuami Eugene, known in real life as Eugene Marfo, to win the highly coveted “Artist of the Year” award at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).

Kuami Eugene worked really hard in the year under review and almost every feature he did in 2018 became an instant hit. His songs were the anthem of many music lovers.
He was nominated in five categories at the 2019 VGMAs. It includes Producer of the Year, Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, Highlife Artiste of the Year, Album of the Year, and Artiste of the Year categories.
The Lynx Entertainment signed artist will be competing with Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and King Promise for the ultimate Artiste of the Year award.
The 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has been slated for Saturday May 18 at the Accra International Conference centre (AICC).
