Award-winning Ghanaian modern highlife sensation who performs under the stage name Kuami Eugene has given it ho to Kwame A Plus for harshly criticizing his ‘Wele Sebe Kontomire’ lyrics during the last edition of UTV’s SHOWBIZ AGENDA.
According to the LYNX entertainment signee who didn’t take A Plus’ severe criticism on a lighter note – It’s only shallow-minded people and of course the naysayers would say something like that about his song.
During an interview on YFM earlier this morning – He said;
It is really, really a bit too shallow if you say ‘wele sebe kontomire’ is a bad word or it is not Grammy worthy. I don’t understand because I am making numbers out there which means we are really listening to it.
We are enjoying it. We are playing it at parties, every wedding, every occasion.
He ended his submissions by revealing that he is getting the numbers, people are playing it so why would anyone say it cannot win a Grammy.
