Ghanaian singer, Kuami Eugene has embarrassed himself big time.. for lying about the cost of his Zara Sneakers.
Social media users roasted The Rockstar on IG after a video of him saying his Zara sneaker costs $700, an equivalent of GHC3800 popped up.
When people get the opportunity to be known by many, they take advantage of the little fame and brag about everything they put on(clothes, shoes etc.)
So why do celebrities brag and lie about the clothes they wear? Well, it all boils down to the answer that they want to portray a certain lifestyle to please their followers.
In the case of the ‘Angela’ hitmaker, luck eluded him when social media users slammed him, revealing the real price of the sneaker which he claimed he bought at a whopping GHC3800.
In a video uploaded by Kokonsa, Kuami Eugene answered a question by the interviewer about the price of his sneakers and in a quick reply, he said: “oh it is Zara, I bought it I think $700 dollars.”
