Kuami Eugene Dissociates Himself From Sarkodie’s ‘Happy Day’ ‘Endorsement’ Song

Rockstar Kwame Eugene has dissociated himself from the newly released ‘Happy Day’ song in which Sarkodie featured him.

The song has sparked controversy as it is rumored to be an endorsement for Nana Akuffo Adoo and the National Patriotic Party for the December 7 elections.

The president has also responded to the song saying that it is a nice song.

The VGMA Artiste of the year has however revealed that he had no idea that the song was an endorsement song so he only performed his lines.

He said; “I still don’t know the idea behind the whole song,”

He also expressed some discomfort about not being able to defend himself because he was kept in the dark about the endorsement bit of the song.

“I am just uncomfortable that I can’t just defend myself because I have no idea.” He said.

Eventhough he is uncomfortable, Kwame Eugene mentioned that his relationship with Sarkodie will not be affected because the issue is being dealt with at the management level.

The musician made these revelations in an interview on 3FM and hoped that his career will not be affected negatively by this controversy.
