American singer, songwriter, and vocal arranger, Keri Hilson has mentioned – in an instagram live – the only Ghanaian artists she has heard of her entire life.
The popular ‘Knock You Down’ global hit singer, Keri Hilson in a tEte-a-TeTe with Stonebwoy confessed to knowing two musicians from Ghana.
According to Keri Hilson, a guy name Dosty D told her about Sarkodie and Stonebwoy. She added that she had heard a couple of their songs way before she recorded the ‘Nominate’ banger with Stonebwoy.
But I am surprised she did not mention Shatta Wale even though the dancehall artist was featured on Beyonce’s album, or maybe he is still a local champion and has not made it globally like Stonebwoy and Sarkodie?
