NPP lead-member and member of parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Hon Kennedy Agyapong has landed himself into a big trouble succeeding his infamous insults on a High Court Judge.
Kennedy Agyapong is said to have “scandalised” and “threatened” the judge and, by extension, the court in an ongoing land dispute.
During his appearance on Net 2 TV’s propagandized program dubbed “The Hot Seat”, Kennedy Agyapong described judge Amos Wuntah Wun as “stupid” and additionally used other unprintable words against him on live TV.
Kennedy Agypong’s anger during the live Tv program seemed out of control. According to the lawmaker, Judge Amos Wuntah delivered a judgement when he was unaware of the case despite being the legitimate owner of the disputed land for 18 years.
Plain spoken Kennedy Agyapong said;
You are a stupid judge. I will face you,
I am not Anas to take bribe from you, I will deal with you.
On Wednesday, the judge issued a warrant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP to appear on Monday, September 14 at 10:00 am.
He is expected to “show cause why he should not be severely punished for contempt if the matters are proven against him to the satisfaction of the Court”.
