News information coming in has revealed that musician and rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong popularly known as Medikal has been granted bail in the sum of GHc100,000.
The rapper has also been asked to provide one surety who is a worker in the public service as a guarantee as the case of medikal has been adjourned to November 9th.
Medikal was charged with displaying arms and ammunition when he first appeared in court last week Friday but pleaded not guilty which led to the court remanding him to the Ankaful prison for 5 days.
The court presided over by Justice Emmanuel Essandoh, a High Court judge sitting with additional responsibility as a circuit court judge was said to have granted Medikal bail today after his lawyers pleaded with the court to have mercy on the rapper as he is well known and would not disobey the court.
