Students of KNUST SHS in the Ashanti Region have vandalized school properties as part of a demonstration over the death of a final year student on campus.
According to the students, one of their colleagues who had an ulcer and was ill was not attended to adequately by the school authorities.
They believe the authorities feared he had contracted the novel coronavirus and as a result, did not attend to him for hours leading to his death.
A vehicle belonging to the headmistress and other school properties were vandalized by the angry student.
Some of the students narrated on Anopa Bofo on Angel 102.9 FM on Wednesday that their colleague could have survived if the school authorities had supported them to convey their colleague to hospital.
