JUST IN: Burundi President Nkurunziza dies of heart attack
The government of Burundi has announced the sudden death of President Pierre Nkurunziza.
According to a statement sighted by Gossips24.com on Twitter, Mr. Nkurunziza died today after suffering a heart attack.
President Nkurunziza is dead
President Nkurunziza was aged 55.
There had been speculations about his health in the past 48 hours after his wife was moved to South Africa for COVID19 related illness.
