Judge tells prosecutors and customers that NAM1 could be freed

Embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1 could be freed of all charges pressed against him in court by the state.

Over thousands of Menzgold customers are hoping the law would deal with NAM1, if possible force him to pay them their investments and all that is due them.

However, the presiding judge in charge of the hearing, Her Honour Evelyn Mensah during the most recent hearing at the Accra Circuit Court, warned that NAM1 could be a free man during their recent appearance in court.

For now, NAM1 is facing 16 charges, including money laundering, unlawful deposit-taking, and sale of minerals.

The Accra Circuit court once again adjourned the hearing of the case after the prosecution, led by ASP Sylvester Asare, asked for more time to work on the docket of the case and provide facts to that effect.

Reports by Starrfm.com.gh suggest the court did not take it lightly with the prosecution’s reason for the case to be adjourned.
