Ex-president John Dramani Mahama is definitely not giving up as he sends his message of condolence to J.J Rawlings in an NDC notebook.
As stated in our previous report, the former president who doubles as the flagbearer and new leader of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama was at the residence of the late president Jerry John Rawlings to mourn with the bereaved family.
However, state protocol denied him access to the book of condolence saying it will be reopened on Monday, hence making it unable for him to pen down his message.
Well, minute after the unfortunate incident, Mahama has taken to the NDC Headquarters to write his message of condolence to the late founder of the party.
The message reads, “It is difficult to come to terms with your shocking exit. But you’ve always been unconventional and acted on your own terms. The rest of us your comrades are left to mourn you. But beyond mourning your departure, we have a duty and responsibility to ensure that your person and your principles receive their deserved place in the history of Ghana. Leader of the Revolution, Founder of the 4th Republic and Midwife of the longest period of democratic governance in history and nobody can take that away. Fare thee well, boss.”
