John Mahama left almost nothing in the national coffers for me – H.E Akufo-Addo

The first man of the land, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo has revealed his predecessor and opposition flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama left him with little money in the national coffers.

Akufo-Addo spilled the bean on the financial status of Ghana when he came into power during his interaction with workers of Ghana Railway Company Limited (GRWCL) in Tema.

Nana Addo said, “…unfortunately, I did not have a rich father, so, I didn’t get a big inheritance…. When I came, there was very little in the coffers, I’m trying to build it up now, so, you have to bear with me.”

The president however assured Ghanaians and workers of GRWCL that the NPP government is working tirelessly to fix things.

The President visited the GRWCL during the last day of his three-day tour of the Greater Accra Region on Wednesday.
