Minister of Information and representative in parliament for Ofoase-Ayirebi constituents, Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has urged Ghanain to ignore John Mahama’s one million jobs agenda which is one of the key elements in the NDC’s manifesto.

Chairing a press-conference in Kumasi today, the NPP lead member cautioned Ghanaians to be very cautious of John Mahama’s lies in the NDC’s manifesto which was launched yesterday.

According to Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, John Mahama has lost his credibility with reference to the formation of Unemployment Graduates Association during his tenure in office as the president of the Republic.

“If you have somebody who during his period run down the Ghanaian economy, went to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a bailout and as a result could not employ young people when they were graduating from school. You recall the graduate unemployment associations that were formed. You recall the cancellation of allowances because of economic crisis and the argument that even if they will vote against us they should vote against us. And today this person comes back and says that he is going to create one million jobs. Does it sound to anybody like a credible promise?

Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said during the press-conference.

John Mahama during the NDC’s manifesto launch yesterday, promised to create one million jobs for the youth yearly dubbed “Big Push“.
