“John Mahama fixed dumsor” – Yvonne Nelson

Ghanaian actress turned socio-political activist, Yvonne Nelson has finally joined an array of NDC members to affirm that John Dramani Mahama actually fixed dumsor in Ghana.

It would be recalled that Yvonne Nelson, the leading force, and some other Ghanaian celebrities including other hundreds attended a vigil in Accra on 16 May 2015 to protest against dumsor.

Fast-forward to 2020 there’s been an argument between a section of NPP folks and NDC folks over who solved/fixed dumsor in Ghana. Others took to the actress’ timeline to slam her for campaigning against strongly for Nana Akufo-Addo via her vigil.

Yvonne who was replying to a tweep who felt the actress has not been fair to the NDC party, its flagbearer, John Mahama, and Ghanaians at large said the dumsor campaign was for Ghanaians and not the NPP.

She added that it was after her campaign that the then President of Ghana, John Mahama who is seeking a second chance fixed the issue.

Her tweet reads;

I understand you are dumb…. let someone clever explain to you my dumsor campaign was for Ghanaians to get their lights back on, which President Mahama fixed and nothing else.
