The Democratic dispensation in the United States of America is currently being tested as the recently held polls is still hovering around. With 270 Electoral College poll as the target, the two main contenders are yet to hit the designated mark. Since various news outlets such as Fox News, CNN, BBC, ABC and others are all reporting dichotomous figures, the Associated Press could be the only reliable source for any information.
In the face of this, President Donald Trump has warned his Democrat opponent in the US presidential election, Joe Biden against “wrongfully claiming the office of the president” in spite of being ahead in the polls.
In a tweet he shared after mail-in ballot counts pushed the former vice president into the lead in Pennsylvania on Friday November 6, Trump said;
“Joe Biden should not wrongfully claim the office of the President. I could make that claim also. Legal proceedings are just now beginning!”
In another post, the POTUS furthered; “had such a big lead in all of these states late into election night, only to see the leads miraculously disappear as the days went by. Perhaps these leads will return as our legal proceedings move forward!”
Trump himself claimed premature victory in an address from the White House early Wednesday morning. The First Gentleman of America is expected to wage a legal battle in several states where he suspects anomalies. Meanwhile, the lawsuits filed by his campaign in Michigan and Georgia over ballot counting have already been rubbished.
Prez. Trump’s dream to cling to the White House has been stiffed as Biden made gains on Friday, November 6.
Democrats’ Biden currently leads GOP’s Trump in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona.
