NDC’s flagbearer, John Mahama, who is now crying blood and throwing heavy tantrums here & there following his defeat in the just-ended presidential race has opined that the EC boss, Mrs Jean Mensa should resign.
According to the former president, the EC chair has dented Ghana’s reputable image as a democratic-peaceful nation that has conducted 7 successful free and fair elections.
Speaking to families of victims of the Techiman South Constituency election-related shooting saga, John Mahama submitted that unfortunate incident wouldn’t have occurred if the Electoral body did its job well.
He is reported to have said;
But I must say, things shouldn’t have happened this way. This is not our first election. But unfortunately, we find ourselves here due to the incompetence of this Electoral Commission.
elsewhere Jean Mensa would have been forced to resign for supervising what he deems to be a rigged election.
If this was a more advanced country, the EC Chairperson would have been forced to resign in shame…
