J Derobie is one hell of a lucky dude and he just fell into the right hands – Mr Eazi. The music lad has hit 1 million views with his hit song “POVERTY” on YouTube.
With a collaboration with Popcaan to serve his fans with the remix version of his hit song, POVERTY, J Derobie has made the mark and dines with the future.
The Nungua based dancehall artist who is been touted by many great musicians as the future of dancehall music in Ghana is one of the young African musicians who was selected by Mr Eazi as part of his emPawa Africa 100 list. As part of the goodies that came with making into the list of emPawa artists, J Derobie got the chance to shoot his first music video for his hit song Poverty.
Now, that music video just hit one million views on YouTube after two months of release. Making that mark has made J Derobie the first emPawa artist to have his music video attain a million views on YouTube.
J Derobie took to Twitter to thank his fans and everyone who watched his music video. He also thanked his boss, Mr Eazi.
