Earlier last week, the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu led Muslims in the country to donate a whopping GHc 50,000 to aid in the development of the National Cathedral.
The Chief Imam’s donation caused mixed reactions and raised eyebrows as some social media users tagged his donation as inappropriate and useless because such a huge amount could have been sued to better the lives of some struggling citizens.
This notion was fueled by the fact that they deem the National Cathedral as purposeless.
Twene Jonas who is noted for commenting on all the trending issues n the country has added his voice to the ongoing debate as to whether the National Chief Imam’s donation was necessary or not.
Highly opinionated Twene Jonas has added the National Chief Imam to the tall list of the prominent people he has insulted so far in the country.
According to Twene Jonas, he very disappointed in the National Chef Imama for helping such a useless agenda to see light.
He further stressed that he could have used the money to empower over a thousand Zongo youths.
