The resumption of the Continuous Voters registration has been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to start in the first three months of 2021.
The announcement was made at a budget defence session with the Senate Committee by Professor Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of the INEC who said that N1 billion has been allocated for the exercise.
Mr. Yakubu also urged the National Assembly to make provisions in the electoral act for early and diaspora voting.
