Songwriter and singer, Akwaboah has finally broken silence over his alleged departure from Sarkodie’s record label.
There were reports that, the singer with the silky voice has left Sarkcess Music group following his contract expiration.
Reports also came in later that, the young and talented musician has inked a million dollar deal with a certain OB Empire after exiting Sarkcess Music.
However, Akwaboah in a recent interview said something totally different
According to him , he hasn’t joined any record label and that he’s currently working on his own under his own record label.
When talking about his exit from Sarkcess Music he said that, though he is no longer at the label, he has still not reached an agreement with the Sarkcess Music CEO, thus he can not say he has parted ways or not.
“I’m not with Sark because i’m doing some things on my own and it doesn’t mean we’re apart or we’re still together” he said.
He continued by saying,
“Me and Sark stuff was three years and obviously, three years is up, so now we’ve gotten to the stage where do we continue or break off, now that’s where we are still talking about it, so when we’re done talking about it as to whether we continue or we don’t, we will make it known to the world”.
