Ghanaian multiple award winning & chart topping anglophone hip-hop and Afrobeat musician Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, known by his stage name D-Black has finally opened up on his viral s3xtape.
In an interview with Halifax Ansah-Addo on Okay FM, the Black Avenue Muzik boss said he is never happy his private found its way on social media.
According to him, it’s just an unfortunate incident and he wouldn’t love to speak on it and that’s why he has been mute ever since it popped up.
He said; “It’s just unfortunate…I’ve always said this… I’ve been without controversy my whole career. It was an unfortunate incident. This is not characteristic of my brand and I just had to deal with it. These are things you don’t have to speak about, it’s private, it’s personal”, he said.
A couple of weeks ago, social media was awash with reports of a sex video alleged to be that of D-Black and an unknown woman.
Following the reports, an American politician and philanthropist, Adrienne Nicole owned up as the lady in the video and claimed that the video was recorded sometime back when she and D Black were lovers.
She revealed that she recently lost her phone at an airport and later received messages from an individual demanding ransom in order not to release her private videos.
According to her, she declined the ransom request and while she was trying to get the authorities involved in the matter, the video was released on the internet by the blackmailer.
