Gospel musician Ohemaa Mery has added her voice to the ongoing encounter between colleague musician and Prophetess Cecilia Marfo and fellow singer, Joyce Blessing.
Gospel musician Cecilia Marfo has been trending for over 24 hours after she interrupted the performance of her colleague singer Joyce Blessing and ordered her to reunite with her estranged husband.
Blessing was performing at the Unity Group of Companies Annual Thanksgiving Service when Marfo barged unto the stage, snatched the microphone and directed her to be quiet.
In her famous powerful voice which gave her hits such as ‘Afunum Ba’ and “Mammire Angu”, she directed Blessing to go back to her marriage amid tongues.
Marfo’s action towards Blessing has sparked varied debates among Ghanaian on social media.
Reacting trending topic, Ohemaa Mercy in an interview with MzGee on Tv3 said she is really not happy about Cecilia’s action towards Blessing on stage.
According to her, the singer turned full-time prophetess could have done better by relaying her prophecy to Joyce Blessing in private rather.
She referenced 2 Samuel 7 where God asks Nathan to visit David to have a private conversation with him to buttress her point.
“…I feel what happened should have been done in private. I am not happy about it. I always say there are so many ways of communicating to people especially when God has ministered to you. I feel this needs to be corrected and it shouldn’t happen in the future.” A worried Ohemaa Mercy expressed.
