Aspiring Member of Parliament of the NDC, John Dumelo during the launch of his campaign in Ayawaso West Wuogon has outlined a clear pathway of what he intends to do if his constituents vote him into power in the coming election.
Speaking at his campaign launch, John Dumelo pledged to set up a football team in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency if he’s voted into parliament on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
“When I enter Parliament, I will give half of my salary to Ayawaso West Wuogon. The first thing I’ll do with that 50% [of my salary] is to establish a football team in Aywaso West Wuogon,” he said.
On how he’ll accomplish the numerous promises he has made, the 36-year-old actor cum politician said he would give half of his salary as an MP to the electorate if he’s voted into power.
“We are tired of playing gala every time. It’s time to create the West Wuogon football club so that the footballers here can also get the opportunity to play in the Premier League and also go abroad.”
This is one of the numerous things the political aspirant has vowed to do when he’s voted MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon on December 7.
