Bernard Antwi Bosiako popularly known as Chairman wontumi who is the Ashanti regional chairman has threatened to deal with former commander of the police service in the Ashantih Region Rtd COP Kofi Boakye.
Chairman Wontumi who was speaking during an interview revealed that he has credible information that Kofi Boakye who is an alleged NDC supporter is training people to cause havoc in the upcoming election.
According to chairman Wontumi, he would deal with the former police officer should he lay his hands on him anywhere.
He further called on any Ghanaian who sees him to have him arrest on the grounds of a citizens arrest and bring him over to him so he hands him to the Ghana Police Service.
Speaking during the interview he stated saying;
“… Kofi Boakye, if there is any disturbance here, we will hold you responsible. This place belongs to us. You were lobbying for the IGP position in an NPP government, and today you are the one training NDC mercenaries to perpetrate violence. I am going to deal with you. I am stronger than you, I will deal with you, Kofi Boakye.
“If you meet Kofi Boakye anywhere, arrest him and bring him to me on citizen’s arrest. I will hand him over to the police… We have a lot of things we can do, but we won’t do them. However, if he goes little, we will go bigger. This is a strong warning,
