Madam Elizabeth Yamoah who became an internet sensation for becoming the oldest student to write the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the history of Ghana has revealed that she wants to become a professional nurse in future.
Whiles speaking on Kasapa FM, madam Elizabeth Yamaoh appealed to Nana Addo and the superintendents of the “Free SHS Program” to make her an ambassador of the policy citing her story as a motivation for school dropouts.
Opening up on a bit of her life, Madam Elizabeth Yamoah also aired that she loved school during her childhood years, however, she had to drop out due to financial difficulties.
Going forward, she further disclosed that she had always wanted to be a nurse so she thought it wise to enroll back into school after Nana Addo implemented the “Free SHS program”.
Madam Yamoah who also sounded emotional in the course of the interview fired her neighbours for the negative words and ridicules they threw at her which nearly forced her to quit school after she got promoted to JHS 2.
The determined JHS graduate who completed the Agona Odoben Presbyterian Basic School additionally made it known that she is confident of coming out with flying colours in the examination, hopes to enrol in a boarding school and finally become a nurse in future.
