Ghanaian promising dancehall act who performs under the stage name Joint 77 , has openly confessed that, he used an award won by Shatta Wale to apply for his American visa after he received a visit invitation from his sister who’s based in the States.
According to the former S.M MILITANT and supposed ungrateful and prodigal son of Shatta Wale, he initially didn’t tell Shatta Wale about going for the visa interview.
Because as per his assumptions, it was not important to tell him during that period but he had it at the back of his mind to officially announce to him after he had been granted the U.S visa.
In an on-air radio interview with Abeiku Santana in the studios of Okay Fm, Joint 77 admitted that, this behaviour of his made Shatta to get angry at him and consequently influenced Shatta to sack him from his plush mansion.
As claimed by Joint 77, he resorted to Shatta’s father and other community elders to plead for forgiveness on his behalf but bitter Shatta Wale didn’t accept his apology.
In the dying minutes of the live radio dialogue, Joint 77 finally acknowledge that,Shatta Wale’s influence [Award] played a major role in the visa he received from the U.S embassy in Accra.
