I spent GHC15,000 on my hair – Nana Boroo brags

Ghanaian hiplife and highlife singer Nana Boroo has revealed the gargantuan amount he splashed on his new look as part of his re-branding process.

Speaking in an interview on Okay FM with Abeiku Santana, Berose 3sixty formerly known as Nana Boroo campaigned for the reduction of import taxes on human hair so that women can afford.

According to him, Ghanaian women have got mad love for human hair but the import taxes drive them away.

He continued that ladies gush over him wherever he goes because of his luxurious lace front wig and most of them enter his DM begging him to borrow one or two of his hair.

Nana Boroo said he started this campaign to inform the government on the need to review taxes on human hair – not artificial hair – to enable the average Ghanaian woman to buy.

According to him, he doesn’t get why anybody will claim he is not serious when ladies are falling in love with him and his wigs, and that is a big accomplishment.

“Do you know how many women who are falling in love with me just because of my hair?” he told Abeiku Santana. “It is the reason why I’m campaigning for them.”

“Abeiku, the hair I’m wearing costs almost 2,500 US dollars. How many women can afford to purchase it?” he quizzed.

“So, import taxes on human hair should be reduced to make it affordable for women. I’m not talking about the artificial hair – I’m talking about original, expensive human hair.”
