Off-screen Nollywood actress and author Olayode Juliana has disclosed the reason she has stopped acting and some more things in her journey of life.
She made the revelation in a discussion session ‘Real Talk: Young Adult Edition’ hosted by relationship coach and clergy Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, which had Taymesan, Obichi, Olumide Owuru and herself as guests, Olayode Juliana said she is never going to kiss anyone except her husband.
When asked how she started acting, Juliana Olayode stated that she never had plans to be a role interpreter but rather wanted to be a newscaster. Life, however, was not all smooth as planned in the mind and she had to do some jobs when there was no money to fund her education when she got admission. At this time, she revealed, her friend began inviting her to auditions and she decided to attend one just to pass her time.
Revealing that she stopped going to auditions before eventually getting on Jenifa’s Diary, Juliana Olayode said many of the auditions would request that she kisses, which she didn’t like.
“The big break came when I went for Jenifa’s Diary. I didn’t even prepare for Jenifa’s Diary because, at some point, I said okay, I’m not going to act again. Every time I go for an audition, they want me to kiss in a movie”, she said. Facing the camera, she went on, “… and I’m never going to kiss in a movie. I’m only kissing my husband”.
