Livingstone Etse Satekla, also known as Stonebwoy has revealed he has not given his concern to the VGMA board on rejoining the award scheme.
The VGMA Board has lifted the ban on both, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, after 18 months of their exclusion from the activities of the scheme.
Barely two weeks ago, the board announced that both Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale can now submit their works and do business with the scheme.
However this decision by the board did not sit down well with the artistes involved.
According to both parties who were initially affected by the ban, it would have been right for the board to have a backdoor discussion with them before putting out a statement to announce the lifting of the ban rather than taking the decision without their knowledge.
Earlier, Stone made it clear that he is not pleased with how the VGMA Board announced the lifting of the ban.
Well, latest update coming from the BHIM Boss indicates there’s a meeting underway between the stakeholders – himself, Shatta Wale, and the VGMA Board – to settle their differences.
In a post sighted by Gossips24.com, Stone revealed that neither himself nor Shatta Wale have given their concerns since the meeting commenced and for that matter has not joined the scheme.
“Concerning the lift of the ban please be informed that the meeting just began.. in fact Neither I Nor Shatta Have Given Our humble Concerns Yet! Whether we so desire Or Not. Thanks to the cherished fans and love ones for sticking with us. ” — he said.
He quickly added that he will keep his fans and loved ones updated on the outcome of the meeting.
He added, “Through it all. Your Votes, Your Dedication, Your Love For Ghana Music.. Love You all Deeply. I promise to Keep You updated.. #GhanaMusic #LongLiveGhanaMusic #1Ghana1LOVE.”
