Stonebwoy blasts VGMA board for not consulting him and Shatta Wale first before lifting their ban

Afro-dancehall marvel and honcho, Stonebwoy; Has finally broken silence on VGMA’s ban lifting on him and his former nemesis, Shattas Wale in the wake for them to gain nomination slots for this year’s edition of the awards event.

Citing the choice of words he used in his write up, it is clear the BET awardee is not happy with the VGMA Board and Scheme organisers over the manner in which they the lifted ban on him and Shatta.

In a thread which he wove on his Twitter page as a reply to the VGMA board, 1 Gad as he’s affectionately called, suggested that organizers of the awards event should have first contacted him and SDhatta privately before breaking the news to the general public.

Disappointed Stonebwoy wrote;

Dear VGMA Board & Scheme organisers,I hear the purpose of the VGMA is to celebrate and project Ghanaian musicians and music.If that is so, it takes nothing from you to meet with us the artistes/ our reps b4 reaching decisions that affect us and communicating them to the public.

The right to be heard is a principle that applies in every noble society. Even the all seeing God, who had already seen and knew all that Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden, still made sure he heard them before he took action against them. #IfTheySoDesire really???
