“I Feared Rawlings And So What?” – Kweku Baako Jnr Fumes

Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr has not said much about the death of former president Jerry John Rawlings. The editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide has held an issue or two with the deceased former First Gentleman because of what he faced some years back. Recall that Kweku Baako Jnr., Kwesi Pratt Jr. and Akoto Ampaw, amongst many others were jailed and tortured during the military regime of Jerry John Rawlings without any trial because they were perceived to be threats to the stability of the Rawlings regime.

Because of what Kweku Baako went through, he has on countless occasions registered his displeasure towards the persona of the late President. Even though many including Kwami Sefa Kayi had appealed to Kweku Baako Jnr to pay a courtesy call and work things out with JJ, he wasn’t able to do that.

Once again, Kweku Baako Jnr was pushed on Kokrokoo this morning to say something since the death of JJ on 12/11/2020 but he refused again.

“I have received so many calls and texts to speak my mind anyhow since JJ is no more. But, out of respect for the family and the good people of Ghana, I won’t say anything so those saying I fear JJ is right,” Kweku Baako Jnr said on Peace FM.
