“I Dress Corpses And My Father Makes The Coffins”-Woman Boldly Says

A woman whose name has been identified as Elizabeth Faribah has come out to reveal how the business of dressing corpses started for her when she was just nineteen years of age.

According to Elizabeth, she was very young when her grandmother who she stayed with died after suffering from a short illness and that happened to be the first time that she saw a dead person being dressed.

Elizabeth whose dad also happens to be a coffin maker revealed that she decided to enter into that profession after she saw how her own grandmother was been dressed by the people who were hired to decorate her.

She further went ahead to reveal that her father who was happy when she told him about the decision paid for his tuition fees so she can be able to learn the trade which now feeds her.

According to Elizabeth she now dresses more than 4 corpses in a day and also connects his father to people who hire her so she baths and dress their dead body so they buy coffins from her dad as well.

Egya Pitsir, the father of Elizbeth who lives in Bokoro revealed that his daughter didn’t further her education so when she brought the idea he accepted it and decided to pay for her to go learn the trade.

he further went ahead to reveal that her daughter now makes an average of Gh1000 per corpse that she dresses making her very well to do in her community.
