Gospel musician, Cwesi Oteng has rubbished reports claiming that he said he regrets endorsing President Akufo Addo prior to the 2016 elections.
The singer was greatly involved in the campaign of the then opposition party NPP and leader, Nana Addo.
Some weeks ago, it was reported that he had expressed disappointment in the president as well as in the New Patriotic Party for failing to turn around the economic situation of Ghana.
In an interview monitored by Gossips24.com, Cwesi Oteng dismissed the publication and reaffirmed his confidence in President Akufo Addo.
“As an artist, i also don’t want to boxed. We all represent so much and i believe that you don’t have to hide your political opinions to be loved.. Those headlines are false, i never said that, anybody who wrote that article, I am disappointed in the headline. I have never regretted endorsing him,” we captured.
