The founder and leader of Life Assembly Worship Center Dr. Christian Kwabena Adu widely known in Ghana for his nickname as Osofo Kyiriabosom has thrashed claims by many that pastors should not take consultation money from members of their church.

Osofo Kyiriabosom has stated that it is important for him to charge members or people when they come for a consultation.

He made this known when he spoke to Nana Romeo of Accra FM.

This is because he can’t go hungry though he is doing the work of God.

“I don’t joke with my consultation fees. I can’t afford to go hungry when I’m working. Doctors charge for consultation, so why can’t we pastors do the same when people come to us.

Those who criticize me and other pastors are just ignorant of the teachings of the Bible. How can I pay my TV programs and utility bills if I don’t charge for a consultation? You are seeking consultation for the knowledge God has given me, so you have to pay. It’s not for free, the charges differ from person to person, politicians are charged differently from businessmen and women and ordinary people.” he explained.

His comments has sparked a debate among Ghanaians as many jab him for taking huge sums of money as consultation fee whilst pleading with Ghanaians to make him president of Ghana in the 2020 elections.
