Flagbearer of Ghana’s biggest opposition party, John Dramani Mahama has declared that he disagrees with the ruling of the Supreme Court.
According to Ex-President John Mahama, he totally disagrees with the processes of the trial and the court’s final ruling.
Addressing the nation on the outcome of the trial, he said
“MUCH AS I’M AWARE THAT WE ARE LEGALLY BOUND WITH THE DECISION OF THE SUPREME COURT, THE HIGHEST COURT OF THE LAND I DISAGREE WITH THE PROCESS OF THE TRIAL AND THE RULING OF THE COURT”
Today, March 4, 2021, the supreme court unanimously dismissed Mahama’s petition for a re-run of the 2020 presidential election on the assumption that candidate, Nana Addo was not properly elected and declared as the President of Ghana by the Electoral Commission which is chaired by Madam Jean Adukwei Mensa.
