Sarkodie‘s album “No Pressure” has been named the album of the month on Apple Music, due to the remarkable fact that it appears to be putting a lot of pressure on streaming platforms.
Sarkodie, who was overjoyed, announced the news on his Twitter page by posting a video from Apple Music announcing that his latest album had been selected the “Album of the Month.”
Well, this doesn’t come as much of a surprise to many because, ever since the release of the ‘No Pressure’ album, it has been topping charts not only in Ghana but globally.
The album recently made its way to the European top 200 albums and also had over six million streams just a week after its release. On Audiomack, it has over twenty million streams.
Following this achievement, Sarkodie has been a Twitter hot topic in the music section, with over 20,000 individuals posting about him. Tweeps continue to hail him as Africa’s “King of Rap” music.
Others have commended him on his accomplishment. They claim that all it takes to get to this far is strong efforts and great music.
