Richard Appiah Gyamfi who is a Sunyani based professional architect has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service at the Sunyani Municipality.

Following his arrest, authorities discovered three decapitated human heads stashed in his refrigerator during a search in his room.

According to sources, Richard is said to have lured one of his victims who is just 13 years into his room on the 20th of August 2021. He killed, chopped off his head and kept it in his fridge plus the other body parts of his other victims.

Mr Thomas Agyei, the father of the 13 years boy has revealed that the architect convinced his son, Louis Agyemang Junior, 13, from a football pitch in Sunyani Abesim into his room and murdered him.

The twin boy had gone to the park for football practice.
Efforts to locate the small youngster in the evening were fruitless. Tweneboa, one of his buddies, notified his parents that they had seen him with Richard aka “Fire Man”.

When they contacted him, he categorically denied seeing the youngster. Tweneboa stated that the two were observed walking together in the afternoon, which raised suspicions among the parents.

One of Richard’s doors was locked on a visit to his home. He explained that the keys to the room had gone missing after interrogation.

The enraged parents collected a group of “area lads” to storm into the room, only to discover Louis Agyemang Junior’s body lying prostrate in cold blood, his head hacked out.

Before being handed over to the Sunyani Abesim Police, the neighbourhood youths rushed on Richard and gave him a good beating. The cops uncovered human body parts in a sack during their search. He kept three human skulls in his fridge, including Louis Agyemang’s. He was also handed up to the Bono Regional Police Command for additional investigation by the Abesim Police.
