To err is human as no one is perfect under the sun and this applies to even the President of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo.

President Nana Akufo Addo has made post on social media that didn’t go too well grammatically and as you know Ghanaians will talk about it.

In celebrating the Black Stars and Black Meteors over their victories simultaneously yesterday, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party took to social media to pen down few words to congratulate the respective teams for their remarkable performance.

In his congratulatory message on Twitter, the President’s official account instead of writing ‘truly‘ or ‘thoroughly‘ wrote ‘throughly‘.“Great performance by the Black Stars this evening, and a throughly deserved victory against South Africa. Very proud of the players, technical and management teams. Next stop, São Tomé and Príncipe. Kudos also to the Black Meteors.”

‘Great performance by the Black Stars this evening, and a throughly deserved victory against South Africa. Very proud of the players, technical and management teams. Next stop, São Tomé and Príncipe. Kudos also to the Black Meteors. #BringBackTheLove#AFCON2019’ President Akufo Addo tweeted

His tweet sparked countless reactions from Twitter users because they think that error shouldn’t have emerged from the quarters of the Presidency.

It will be forgiven if the grammatical mistake was done by an ordinary person but not the first man of the land and in this case the president of a whole republic.

Below is one of the reactions from a Twitter user;
