The flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress and former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has been inked in the bad books of trolls on social media following his fiercest rival, H.E Nana Addo’s ability to sway the current outbreak of the coronavirus in Ghana and other directives to help the situation at hand.
John Dramani Mahama’s name popped up on several ongoing conversations on social media following H.E Nana Addo’s fifth address to the nation as he gave an account on the progress of the partial lockdown.
Majority of Ghanaians were overwhelmed by the president’s utmost assurance of a reliable supply of water and electricity during this critical Coronavirus lockdown, as reported earlier by G24.
It did not end there, what took Ghanaians by storm was Nana Addo’s utterance on the Government’s intention to absorb water bills of all Ghanaians for the next three months, i.e, April, May and June.
It is for this reason that some Ghanaians have taken to social media to advise Mahama to either find the cure for covid-19 or contest for MP. Many have opined that the flagbearer for the biggest opposition wing in Ghana will lose the 2020 Presidential election.
It is obvious Ghanaians have fallen in love with the sitting president and he’s likely to retain power unless the polls tell otherwise.
