A hardcore Ghanaian joined a fleet of protestants who were protesting against black brutality and racism following the unfortunate death of George Floyd in Powderhorn, a neighborhood south of downtown Minneapolis,
In the course of the protest in some parts of the US, a Ghanaian boldly told the police officers holding the police rod who were trying to scare the protestants that the rod was too little for him to feel any pain if used on him.
He teasingly said that, growing up as a kid back in Ghana, his mother used a wooden spatula known locally as bankuta and pistil to beat him.
The Ghanaian said, due to how he was raised and the treatment he was given, he has developed a thick skin and isn’t scared to protest for justice to prevail in George’s case.
