Ghanaian Afro-pop singer-songwriter who sings in her native language Sissala and Waala dialects and English, Wiyaala has described some Ghanaian musicians as jokers.
Speaking in an interview with blogger Kobby Kyei, the ‘lioness’ as she is affectionately called made it clear that, some Ghanaian musicians do not invest in their craft.
According to her, in Ghana ‘any joker can wake up, go and auto-tune their voice and show skin’. As a result, the international community see many Ghanaian artists as jokers.
She suggested however that, Ghanaian artist should invest in their vocal training and song production.
