Ghanaian Celebrities condemns the ongoing shootings of peaceful protestors in Nigeria (screenshots)

Nigeria is currently trending globally with regards to the massacre which took place at the famous Lekki Tollgate yesterday.

As some yet unidentified military officers were tasked to opened fire on peaceful protestors who are calling for the ill-famed police unit [SARS] to be disbanded. 

News of the mass shootings went viral after a renowned-popular Nigerian journalist, @iamOkon shared a commentary of the horror scenes which took place at the Lekki Tollgate on his Twitter handle.

 

The army not only killed at Lekki. They also took the dead bodies. No mainstream media on ground covering this – only social media giving updates. It’s how the government have been killing & hiding Nigerians for years & we don’t know. Social media exposing them now. Nigeria! 💔

At the moment, all eyes are on Nigeria as world diplomats, Humanitarians and other global co-operate bodies have all strongly condemned the wicked actions of the Nigerian Army.

 

 Ghanaian celebrities who are also saddened with the ongoing unrest in Nigeria have also taken to their Twitter pages to stand in solidarity with Nigerians in these dreadful times.

 

Sarkodie, Sandra Ankobia and other notable stars are amongst these our celebs who have tweeted against the Police/Army brutalities in Nigeria.
